Bihar govt deploys additional doctors at Muzaffarpur in wake of Encephalitis

They have been deputed at Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital and Kejriwal Hospital in Muzaffarpur.<br />''<br />''Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed the situation and instructed health officials to provide all medical facilities to ailing children.64 children have so far died due to Encephalitis.<br />''<br />''Maximum casualties have been reported from Muzaffarpur. 82 children are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Condition of eight children is critical.<br />''<br />''Casualties have also been reported from Samastipur and Vaishali districts. A multi-specialist high-level team is in Muzaffarpur to assist local machinery in the containment and management of rising cases of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES).<br />''<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The expert team has sent a preliminary report to the Health Ministry.
