<span style="color: #222222;">Bihar government has decided to provide free ration to those poor families who do not have any ration card. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said such families will be identified by the village level self – help groups( SHGs) for providing necessary assistance. Mr Kumar said the state government has so far transferred over 948 crore in the bank accounts of about 95 lakh ration card holders across the state as part of the financial assistance being provided to poor families in the wake of nationwide lockdown.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister said rupees one thousand amount would soon be transferred in the rest of the card holders. Similarily, the state government is providing rupees one thousand to each migrant worker and other needy people stranded outside Bihar. Over ten lakh people of the state are stranded in other parts of the state. The amount is being transferred directly their bank accounts.</span><br />
