In Bihar, the sixth and final phase of polling is now underway amidst heavy security in 26 constituencies spread over five districts of Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtash, Kaimur and Buxar. Polling began at 7 am and will continue till 3 pm in 18 Naxal-affected constituencies while in the remaining eight it would end at 5 pm. More than 60 lakh voters will decide the fate of 426 candidates, including 43 women in this phase. The NDA, Congress, BSP and RJD- LJP alliance are contesting all the seats. CPI is contesting from 7 seats, CPM 2 and CPI (ML) 17.
