In Bihar, 50 candidates filed their nomination papers today for the first phase of elections to be held on October 21. With this total number of nomination papers filed has gone upto 61. Seven candidates have filed their nomination papers for the second phase of elections. AIR Patna correspondent reports tha the Janata Dal( United),Samajwadi Party and CPI released the list of their party candidates today. The Janta Dal (United) has released the list of 54 candidates for the first and second phase of elections. Senior leader of Janta Dal ( United) and MP Upendra Kuswaha has resigned from the post of National General Secretary alleging discrimination in distribution of party tickets. The Samajwadi party has released the first list of 109 candidates. CPI has also released the list of 58 candidates.AIR correspondent reports, the Janta Dal ( United) has released the list of 54 candidates for the first and second phase of elections. Party has not given tickets to five sitting MLAs.
