<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">In Bihar, a team of the Election Commission of India (ECI) led by Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Dharmendra Sharma today held a review meeting in Patna for preparedness of upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state. &nbsp;</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />”</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">District Magistrate cum District Election Officers of 24 districts were present in the review meeting. Besides the six-member team of the ECI, the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, H R Shrinivas, was also present in the meeting.</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The team of the Election Commission reviewed the status of the electoral roll of the state besides giving several directions to the Election Officers of the districts concerned. During the deliberations, the team emphasized upon enhancement of the participation of young electorates in the election process. &nbsp;</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Election Commission team also asked the state officers to devise awareness programmes so that new voters can enroll themselves as new voters.&nbsp;</p>
