A Bihar court today granted bail to RJD president Lalu Prasad in a case of violating the model code of conduct in the 2009 Lok Sabha polls. Danapur Judicial Magistrate allowed his plea for regular bail. Lalu Prasad appeared in person before the court.The RJD leader has been charged with moving in a convoy of vehicles in Danapur during the 2009 Lok Sabha polls, when he was Railway Minister, violating the model code.
