Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar last night sacked his Excise Minister Awadhesh Prasad Kushwaha after a sting video showed him taking Rs. 4 lakh bribe from a person. <br/><br/>JD(U) national president Sharad Yadav told reporters in Patna that Mr Kushwaha's resignation has been received and forwarded to the Governor for acceptance. <br/><br/>He said Mr Kushwaha will not be the JD(U) candidate for Pipra assembly constituency in East Champaran district where the party will field another nominee. Mr Kushwaha said it is a conspiracy hatched by his rivals against him.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, former Minister and principal general secretary of Bihar RJD Mudrika Singh Yadav and party candidate Subedar Dass from Makhdumpur constituency in Jehanabad district were also caught red handed in a sting operation while taking money from a person. <br/><br/>One relative of RJD candidate Krishnandan Prasad Varma of Ghosi constituency was also caught red handed in the sting operation.
