<span style="color: #222222;">Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today apologized for his controversial statement related to women in both the Houses of state legislature after strong protest by the opposition. Chief Minister had yesterday made comments on female literacy and reduction of reproduction rate during his speech in the State Assembly on the issue of Caste Based Survey in Bihar. Mr. Kumar said during his statement it was not his intention to offend sentiment of anyone including women. He said if anyone has objection on this, he retracts his own statement and apologizes for the same.</span>&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, both the Houses witnessed uproarious scene as opposition members demanded resignation of Chief Minister over his remarks. In the Lower House, leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha said the remarks were very derogatory and unparliamentary. Both the Houses witnessed chaotic scenes over the issue. As the pandemonium continued, both the Houses were adjourned till lunch break.</span><br />
