Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has instructed officials to intensify relief and rescue operations in flood affected areas of the state.<br />''<br />'' Reviewing the prevailing flood situation in the state Mr Kumar asked officials to repair breached embankments immediately.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Chief Minister stressed the importance of inter linking of small rivers of south Bihar to avert floods in future.This will be also helpful for irrigation in the areas.&nbsp; Ganga, Sone and Punpun rivers are flowing above danger mark and are maintaining rising trend. Surging water is&nbsp; engulfing&nbsp; low lying areas.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">People who are living in areas along the banks of the rivers in Nalanda,Arwal,Gaya and Aurangabad&nbsp; have been advised&nbsp; to move to safer places.
