In Bihar, the Chief Minister will come under purview of Lokayukta. Announcing this, the Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi told AIR that the government is considering a proposal submitted by NGOs to strengthen Lokayukta. The draft of Lokayukta Bill will be placed in the state legislative assembly in the coming session of the House. The Deputy Chief Minister claimed that the state government has initiated several measures to ensure corruption free administration and curb corruption at various levels.
