Bihar CM accepts resignation of Cooperative Minister

In Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has accepted the resignation of Cooperative Minister Ramadhar Prasad Singh and forwarded it to the Governor Devanand Kunwar. Singh had submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar late last night after opposition leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui sought his dismissal from the state cabinet on the ground that Mr. Singh was an absconder in the eyes of law in a case relating to delivering a provocative speech in 1992. Ramadhar Singh is a BJP MLA from Aurangabad. AIR patna correspondent reports that the Aurangabad court had issued non-bailable warrant against Ramadhar Singh on 31st May 1994 due to his absence in the court.After that the court declared him absconder on 8th December 1995.
