Bihar: Classes from one to ten to reopen in second week of August

<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, schools of class one to ten will be opened in the second week of next month. Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said present partial unlocking will be effective till August 6 in the state. Mr Choudhury said the decision of opening schools will be taken at a meeting of the crisis management group. He said Indian Medical Council Research (ICMR) report advocates opening of primary and middle schools. The Education Minister said the state is closely monitoring covid situation in the state.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, Bihar is witnessing a sharp decline in fresh COVID cases. The state's recovery rate has risen to  98.59 per cent, while the test positivity rate has declined to below one percent. The number of active cases is also decreasing and presently stands at five hundred eighty nine.<br />''<br />''Over seven lakh 13 thousand people have so far recovered from the infection. No fresh cases have been reported from 10  districts including Madhepura, Saharsa and Siwan.</span><br />
