Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made an aerial survey of flood-affected areas of the state yesterday to assess the damage caused by prevailing floods. Besides, he asked the DMs to ensure that relief materials reached the flood victims.<br />''<br />'' The CM said, the displaced persons living at relief camps and taking shelter at safer places should be subjected to RT- PCR tests for Corona virus and vaccination. He said, farming activities have been badly affected due to the excessive rainfall and floods.<br />''<br />''Mr Kumar also instructed officials concerned to make proper assessment of the damages to farmers, in order to provide them timely relief. The Chief Minister said, excessive rainfall in the last month led to flood situation in the state.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, there is no let up in flood situation in the state. Burhi Gandak, Bagmati and Kamla Balan rivers are flowing above danger mark.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">Rail traffic on Darbhanga- Samastipur section remains suspended on the seventh consecutive day today following inundation of track. Ten trains on this route have been cancelled today while a few more trains have been diverted to alternative routes.</span><br />
