Bihar: Budget Session of State Legislature will begin from 10th February

In Bihar, the Budget Session of the State Legislature will begin on the 10th of February as per the revised schedule approved by the Governor. The session will end on the 1st of March.<br />”<br />”The newly constituted government of Nitish Kumar led by BJP-JD(U) will seek a vote of confidence on the 10th of February.<br />”<br />”The session will begin with the address of Governor Rajendra Vishvwnath Arlekar to the joint sitting of both Houses in the Central Hall of the Bihar Assembly. The State budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 will be presented on the 12th of February. During the session, a total of 12 sittings will take place.<br />”<br />”The election of the new Speaker will also take place during the session as NDA, MLAs have given notice of no confidence against the incumbent Speaker Awadh Bihari Choudhary to the secretary of assembly. Mr. Choudhary, a senior RJD MLA was elected as the candidate of Grand Alliance.<br />”<span style="color: #222222;"><br />”After the dissolution of the RJD-JD(U) led government Mr. Choudhary has to resign but no decision has been taken by him.</span><br />
