<br/>In Bihar, normal life has been affected by Rastriya Janata Dal sponsored state wide bandh on Thursday to protest price hike and alleged blackmarketing of essential commodities. RJD Chief Laloo Prasad Yadav and Opposition leader, Mrs. Rabri Devi lead the party's rallies at Patna.Lok Janshakati party and left parties have also supported this bandh.<br/><br/>Private schools have been closed as a precautionary measures.Business establishment have also shut down their shutters due to bandh.<br/><br/>AIR Patna Correspondent reports that party supporters have disrupted Rail and road traffic at several places. He adds that tight security arrangements have been made across Bihar in view of bandh.<br/><br/>RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said commom people are facing financial hardships due to sky rocketing prices.<br/><br/>Mr. Yadav said centre as well as state government are responsible for suffering of common people. He said Nitish led NDA government in Bihar has failed to control blackmarketing This has caused paucity of commodities and price rise.<br/><br/>On the other hand Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the bandh called by RJD and other parties is an exercise in futility. Mr. Kumar said The UPA government at the centre is solely responsible for the price rise.

Bihar bandh against price rise hits normal life
