In the Bihar Assembly history of sorts was created on Tuesday when members of both opposition and ruling party assaulted each other, hurled chairs and turned table during the post lunch session, leading to adjournment of the House till today. AIR Correspondent reports that the pre-lunch session of the house had earlier been adjourned without taking up the question hour as opposition members stalled proceedings demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the issue of alleged illegal withdrawal of over 11,400 crore rupees from treasuries across the state. AIR Correspondent reports, opposition legislators sat on dharana inside and outside of Assembly and council building whole night. In view of the prevailing situation the entire area around assembly premises has been sealed. Three legislators namely Maheshwar Singh, W. Singh and Narayan Sah spent the whole night on the roads leading to assembly premises. Deputy Speaker Shakuni Chaudhury and RJD Supremo lalu Prasad yadav were not allowed to enter the Assembly to meet their legislators were on dharana.
