Bihar Assembly Secretariat closed till 16th January

<span style="color: #222222;">Bihar Assembly Secretariat has been closed from today till 16 of this month in the wake of staff getting infected with Covid. The Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha said this decision was taken after nearly 30 staff members tested positive in the testing in the last three days. Mr Sinha said meetings of all committees of the assembly has also been suspended. The state government has cancelled meeting of newly elected gram sabha in all panchayats in view of increasing covid cases in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Three ministers of Nitish cabinet Shahnawaz Hussain,Mukesh Sahni and Rampreet Paswan were tested positive. Meanwhile, the number of daily Covid cases continue to rise with 3,048 more people testing positive for the virus during the last 24 hours. With this, the number of active cases in the state has increased to 8 thousand 489.</span>
