In Sikta Assembly Constituency, Dilip Verma, Independent has defeated his nearest rival Fakruddin, also Independent by over 5000 votes. In Raxaul, Ajay Kumar Singh of BJP beat Rajnanadan Rai of LJP by about 6,000 votes.
