In Bihar, 25 people have been killed during stampede after the burning of effigies of Ravan Kumbakaran and Meghnath at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Friday evening.

District Magistrate, Patna told AIR Patna correspondent that 15 people including women and children have also been injured and they have been shifted to the hospital. Further details are awaited.

Reacting to the Prime Minister's broadcast, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that Shri Modi has talked on Mahatma Gandhi's programmes of Khadi and cleanness. He should have added his other programmes of brotherhood and communal harmony .

The BJP leader Sambit Patra describing the programme as participated democracy said that the Prime Minister has reached out to urban and rural sector of the country.
