The CBI Court of Patiala today acquitted Punjab Cabinet Minister Bibi Jagir Kaur of the charges of her daughter's murder. However, the court convicted her for forced abortion and kidnapping of her daughter.

Kaur has been sentenced for five years imprisonment on the charges set by the Court. Our correspondent reports that she has been sent to jail. Her Counsel said in Patiala that a petition will be filed in the High Court against the Patiala Court's decision.
