Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk is arriving New Delhi today on a nine-day goodwill visit, during which he will meet Indian leadership and discuss host of important bilateral and regional issues. A statement from the Bhutan embassy said in New Delhi that the King is scheduled to meet President Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Minister for External Affairs S M Krishna. The King is also scheduled to deliver a special address at the Golden Jubilee celebration of the National Defence College in New Delhi which will be attended by President Pratibha Patil. He is an alumni of the NDC, having attended the 2005 programme.
