The King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk has arrived in Kolkata this morning on a two-day visit to the city. The State Governor, Mr. M.K. Narayanan received him at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. During his stay, Mr. Wangchuk will address the annual convocation of the Calcutta University this afternoon. AIR Kolkata Correspondent reports that the Bhutan King will visit Tagore Museum at Jorasanko Thakur Bari, the birth place of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and Dakshineswar Kali temple tomorrow. Mr. Wangchuk will also meet Bhutanese citizens residing in Kolkata. The West Bengal Governor will host a banquet in honour of the visiting King.
