The legendary singer, poet, litterateur Dr. Bhupen Hazarika has been conferred the Life Time Achievement Award introduced by Indian Chambers of Commerce (ICC) for his all round contribution towards the society. <br/><br/>The Award was conferred on Dr. Hazarika at the on-going North East Business Summit organized by the ICC in Kolkata today. <br/><br/>Noted journalist, publisher Mr. Surya Hazarika received the award on his behalf. Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, a multi-faceted genius is, among others, the recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award in 1993 besides Asom Ratna in 2008 apart from Padma Bhusan.
