This is the Swiss maestro's 72nd tour title and the fifth Dubai title. Third-seeded Murray went into today's final with an 8-6 winning record against number two seed Federer. The Briton had beat world number one Novak Djokovic yesterday to reach the final. But he was lacklustre against Federer today and struggled to get his service going.
