Mahesh Bhupathi has blamed the All India Tennis Federation, AITA, for the selection row ahead of next month's Olympics. In a letter to Sports Ministry yesterday, Bhupathi said that the row resulted due to AITA's insistence on sending only one team to the London Games. Seeking Sports Ministry's intervention over the issue, Bhupathi said, the AITA knew all along that two teams could be sent to London, and the row would not have happened had the federation selected two teams. He said, the issue can be resolved even now ifAITA agrees to send two teams.
