<span style="color: #222222;">Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has denied claims that Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited Nita Ambani will be a visiting lecturer at the University.<br />'' <br />'' The press release issued by the PRO of University says that neither any official decision has been taken nor any administrative order was issued by the University administration regarding appointment of Shrimati Neeta Ambani as visiting professor in any department or giving her the responsibility of teaching.<br />'' <br />'' It says that approval of competent authority is required for appointment of any visiting professor in University and nothing was done in this case. Also no such kind of proposal came in front of the competent authority.<br />'' <br />'' The release says that it is being cleared in the wake of such reports which were published in different newspapers.<br />'' <br />'' A few local media reports had stated that a proposal to make Nita Ambani a visiting professor was put forth at the BHU's Centre for Women's Studies and Development. However, it is now pointed out by BHU administration that no such proposal came in front of the Authorities.</span>
