The 93rd convocation of the Banaras Hindu University will be held today with Vice-President Mohd. Hamid Ansari as the chief guest of the ceremony. Uttar Pradesh Governor B L Joshi and Chancellor of University Dr Karan Singh will also take part in today’s programme. According to University spokesperson, medals will be given to 26 students for their academic achievements. More than 7,000 students will receive their degrees for different courses and PhD degree will be awarded to 364 students.
