A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the Bhilai Steel Plant incident in which 6 persons including two two Deputy General Managers were killed and 30 others injured following a massive gas leak late last night. Talking to media persons, Durg District Magistrate R.Sangeetha today said that ADM Suneel Jain will hold the inquiry.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the Bhilai Steel Plant incident. Mr. Modi today talked to Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on phone . He said that best medical care should be provided to those affected by this unfortunate incident.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of Steel Narendra Singh Tomar is scheduled to visit the plant this afternoon.
