Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has won the vote of confidence. Kumar got 126 and 24 votes went against the motion.
Congress which has four members in the assembly, had decided to vote in favour of the trust motion. Former alliance partner BJP walked out from trust vote after accusing Nitish Kumar of betraying mandate. The ruling JD(U), which has 118 MLAs in the 243 member assembly, required support of four more MLAs to prove majority.
