In Madhya Pradesh, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Madhya Pradesh Power Generation Company Limited signed a joint venture agreement to set up two super critical power plants of 800 Megawatt each in Khandwa district. Union minister of state for Heavy industries Arun Yadav, state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and others were present on the occasion. Mr. Arun Yadav said that Khandwa will become the power hub of Madhya Pradesh in next five years.
