Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and freedom fighter Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya will be conferred Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian award. Announcing this, President Pranab Mukherjee, in a tweet today, said he is pleased to award Bharat Ratna to the two leaders. Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya is being awarded posthumously.
