In Sikkim, a three day long Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign began at Duga in east Sikkim district today. The state Minister for Commerce and Industry Ms. Neeru Seva inaugurated it. The campaign has been organised by the Press Information Bureau, Gangtok along with other media units of Information and Broadcasting. AIR Gangtok correspondent reports that this is the 14th Information campaign in series since such campaigns began first in the state in November 2006. More than 40 per cent population of this border state has been covered under PICs so far creating awareness about flagship programmers of the centre.
