Bharat Gogawale, Chief whip of Shiv Sena's Eknath Shinde faction has given a petition to the Assembly Speaker for the suspension of 16 MLAs of the party for violation of whip. The Speaker's office confirmed that 16 MLAs will be issued notice for suspension. Bharat Gogawale has also issued whip to the party MLAs to remain present in the Vidhan Sabha for the floor test.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand Chief whip of Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray faction, Sunil Prabhu has also issued whip in this regard. Shiv Sena has claimed that according to the 10th Schedule of the Constitution only the original political party or the person authorized by it has the right to issue whip and the legislative party can not issue whip. Meanwhile, one more Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Bangar has joined Eknath Shinde faction and with the Shiv Sena MLAs in his faction has risen to 40. </span><br />
