<span style="color: #222222;">The Bharat Bandh call given by farmers union evoked a mixed response in Maharashtra with some pockets of the state participating in the bandh. While some protestors did try to stop a train in Buldhana district and block the Mumbai-Agra highway in the morning, the authorities swiftly took action to restore normalcy.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, barring a few protest rallies across some districts, the Bharat Bandh call did not evoke much response from citizens of Maharashtra. While major cities like Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Aurangabad, already reeling under the pressure of lockdown did not participate in the strike, some districts like Ahmednagar, Yavatmal, Nanded, Palghar and Latur did witness shutdown. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Even though the Agricultural Produce Market Committee – APMC markets remained closed across most part of the State, supply of milk and essential services functioned normally. In Mumbai, buses, cabs and trains were running as usual while all shops, restaurants and commercial establishments remained open. There was no disturbance in the operation of banks and stock exchanges, television and movie shootings were not hampered neither was there any impact on airlines.</span>
