In the Bhanwari Devi missing case, the CBI today accepted that Bhanwari Devi is no more.

During the hearing on the habeas corpus petition in the Rajasthan High Court, the CBI Advocate said that the investigation agency will lodge a case of murder against the accused.

The habeas corpus was filed by Amar Chand, husband of Bhanwari Devi who was also arrested by the CBI.

The CBI requested the court to reject the habeas corpus petition.

The court instructed the CBI to file a fresh charge sheet. The next hearing on this petition is 21st February.

Bhanwari was missing since 1st September last year. CBI has arrested former Minister Mahipal Maderna, MLA Malkhan Singh and several others under the charges of conspiracy.
