Better to act cautiously on Kairana than issuing statements: Rajnath Singh

The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said there has been a drop of 50 per cent in infiltration bids from across the border since Modi government took charge.<br/><br/>Talking about the achievements of the Central Government in Conference of Intellectuals in Dehradun he said Indian Army and para-military personnel are performing their duties along our frontiers with great efficiency. <br/><br/>He further said that that terrorism and naxal incidents has also been reduced to 37 to 40 percent. However, the Home Minister admitted that a lot more needs to be done to further rein in such activities. <br/><br/>On the issue of Kairana, Mr. Singh said instead of issuing statements on a sensitive issue like this it is better to act cautiously and find a solution to the problem. <br/><br/>He said that Home Ministry has sought report in this regard and necessary action will be taken as required. Speaking on the issue of black money, the Home Minister said that those who would deposit 45 percent tax on undeclared money between 1st June to 30th September will have the benefit of Amnesty scheme. <br/><br/>The Home Minister visit is a part of the Vikas Parva being celebrated countrywide by the Centre to mark the completion of two years of NDA Government's tenure.
