West Bengal State Industrial Development Minister, Partho Chattopadhaya on Tuesday visited Singur to observe the actual situation of the TATA Motors project. He reached inside the project area and after visiting he held a high level meeting with the Managing Director of West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, Mr. Subroto Gupta, State School Minister and local MLA, Mr. Rabindranath Bhattacharjee, renowned leader of Singur Movement, Mr. Bacharam Manna and other local officials. He also met unwilling farmers. Later he told the media that legally it is possible to return the 400 acres acquired land to the unwilling farmers.
