Bengal Govt stresses on food processing

The West Bengal Government has been stressing on Food processing after gaining substantial success in agriculture. Inaugurating the four-day Horti Food Feast in Kolkata on Wednesday, the State Chief Minister Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharya said that, the investment in Food processing has increased side by side with investments in Heavy Industries. He expressed satisfaction that, consequently jobs have been created in the field. The Chief Minister also said that, the State Government will help in marketing of products for those who invest up to 5 lakh rupees in horticulture. He said that soon 31 Cold Storages will be build in the State for conservation of fruits, flowers and vegetables.
