West Bengal Governor M. K. Narayanan has accepted the resignation of retired Justice Ashok Kumar Ganguly from the post of Chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission. This brings an end to the speculations about whether the former Judge of the Supreme Court has resigned or not from the post.

Mr. M. K. Narayanan has passed on the resignation of Mr. Ganguly to the State Chief Secretary and to the President of India.
