Benchmark domestic stocks today witnessed losses in afternoon trade amid mixed Asian share markets. The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 77 points, or 0.24 percent to 33,990 in intra-day trade a short while ago. 

The Nifty at National Stock Exchange also slipped 18 points, or 0.18 percent, to 10,233. At the forex market, the rupee also depreciated 11 paise, to 73 rupees and 55 paise against the US dollar.
