Benazir murder case: Former Pak Prez Musharraf sent to jail

Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has been sent to jail on 14 days' judicial remand in the Benazir Bhutto's murder case by the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC).

However, the former President will be kept at his farmhouse in Chak Shahzad, which has been declared a sub-jail. Mr Musharraf was not produced before the court today for security reasons. Further hearing in the case has been adjourned till the 14th of May.

It may be recalled that Mr Musharraf was handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency on physical remand till today in Benazir Bhutto's murder case.
