Before taking a decision over declassification of files relating to Netaji, government needs to study in context of international relations: Naidu

The government has said that international relations, particularly with neighboring countries, have to be studies before taking a decision over declassification of files relating to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu told this to reporters in Hyderabad today.<br/><br/>Referring to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's remarks that the Centre also has to declassify the files, Mr Naidu said the government will examine all the issues relating to it and consider what to do and when to do. He said, every citizen has a right to know the truth about Netaji.<br/><br/>The West Bengal Government Friday declassified 64 files pertaining to the last days of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose from 1937 to 1947. Ms Mamata Banerjee said that she had gone through some files and had got the impression that Netaji was alive even after 1945. She said, in some files, the then CID, Intelligence and Administrative officials had dismissed the Taiwan Air Crash theory.

The government today said that international relations, particularly with neighbouring countries have to be studied before taking a decision over declassification of files relating to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. <br/><br/>Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu told reporters in Hyderabad that the way how it effects India's relations with other countries has to be studied before taking a final decision over the Files pertaining to Netaji. He said, only after a thorough examination the government will take a decision over declassification.<br/><br/>Referring to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's remarks that the Centre also has to declassify the files, Mr Naidu said the government will examine all the issues relating to it and consider what to do and when to do. He said, every citizen has a right to know the truth about Netaji.
