Board of Control for Cricket in India – BCCI has declined the IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi's request to defer the Monday Governing council meeting by 5 days. The Board will go ahead with the meeting to decide about the fate of Mr Modi. The BCCI President Shashank Manohar said a decision will be taken on Monday at the Governing Council meeting.<br/> <br/>The BCCI top brass were in no mood to consider embattled Lalit Modi's plea to defer the meeting. They were of the view that the allegations of financial irregularities and the entire controversy related to IPL are far too serious to defer the meeting any further. <br/> <br/>Ahead of the upcoming IPL Governing Council meeting on Monday, the BCCI on Saturday held an unofficial meeting to draw up a strategy. Although there was no official word about the details of the meeting from the top brass of BCCI, Sources told that the BCCI is mulling over to form a sub-committee to run the IPL. <br/> <br/>The sources in Mumbai said that the BCCI is planning to carve out a smaller committee out of the present IPL Governing Council and include three or four persons to run the show instead of making it a one-man show like it was till present.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, IPL Commissioner Lali Modi has threatened to reveal more names in connection with IPL controversy after the final match today. On his internet blogsite twitter, Mr. Modi said he will disclose the names of those who tried to bring disrepute to the game and how he stops them from doing it. <br/> <br/>Modi also made it clear that he will not resign as IPL Commissioner despite pressure from certain quarter in BCCI. Modi is also undecided on whether he will attend the crucial governing council meeting on Monday.<br/> <br/>Income tax officials have collected some papers from the New Delhi office of Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel in connection with the IPL issue. NCP chief Sharad Pawar said this in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra on Saturday. He was attending a party convention there. Pawar said the authorities never questioned Patel in this connection. Only some papers were collected from his office in New Delhi.<br/>
