The Board for Cricket Control in India ( BCCI) today unanimously decided to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court pointing out the anomalies and difficulties and clearing its stand in implementing the Justice Lodha Committee recommendations on the restructuring of the cricket board. The Supreme Court would hear the matter on March 3.<br/><br/>It was decided in the Special General Meeting of the BCCI today that secretary Anurag Thakur will file an affidavit on behalf of the BCCI in the apex court pointing out the anomalies and difficulties encountered in implementation of Justice Lodha Committee recommendations. <br/><br/>It is learned that the BCCI might raise objections on some recommendations in the affidavit which would including, 'One state One Vote rule, using cricket stadiums for other sports in during off-season, and having advertisement breaks only during lunch or tea in international matches among others. <br/><br/>The BCCI today also told the state associations that they can file affidavit separately on the difficulties they faced due to the recommendations. The BCCI Working Committee also authorized the President Shashank Mahohar and Secretary Anurag Thakur to appoint an agency to search for candidates for the posts of CEO and CFO for the BCCI, as one of the reforms suggested by the SC appointed committee.
