The Board of Control for Cricket in India, BCCI, has slapped damages claim of 250 crore rupees on the West Indies Cricket Board. This comes in the backdrop of mid-series pullout by West Indies players due to a pay dispute with their Board. BCCI's secretary Sanjay Patel said that the board has sent a letter to the West Indies Cricket Board claiming the damages. It has been learnt that the BCCI has given West Indies Cricket Board about two weeks time to come up with a compensation plan failing which the BCCI will file a lawsuit.
