BCCI refuses to react on court verdict over life ban on Azharuddin

The BCCI on Thursday refused to react on the court verdict that set aside the life ban on Azharuddin, and said it will analyse the judgement before taking any decision. Senior BCCI official Rajeev Shukla said they would not react until their legal team looks at the court judgement. Azharuddin was banned by the BCCI in year 2000 on the charges of match-fixing. The decision to ban him was taken on the suggestion of a three-member committee comprising its erstwhile president A C Muthaiah and two vice-presidents Kamal Morarka and K M Ram Prasad.
