BCCI President Shashank Manohar will meet his Pakistan counterpart Shahryar Khan in New Delhi today. The meeting, scheduled to take place in Mumbai yesterday, was cancelled after Shiv Sena activists stormed the Indian Cricket Board headquarters protesting against bilateral series between the two countries. Hundreds of Shiv Sainiks gheraoed President Shashank Manohar in his office. Shashank Manohar had invited Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shahryar Khan for talks on the much-anticipated series scheduled in December.Khan and PCB's executive committee head Najam Sethi were in Mumbai for the meeting after discussing the planned series with BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur earlier on the sidelines of the ICC meeting in Dubai. IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla strongly condemned the attack and said, BCCI is a responsible body and will not do anything against national interest, and cricketing decisions should be left to BCCI.
