The President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India Mr. N. Srinivasan today said that the Board would take a decision on Deccan Chargers at the working committee meeting which is to be held on the 15th of this month.Speaking to the media in Chennai, Mr.Srinivasan said BCCI assisted the Deccan Chargers and had also looked on the eligibility criteria of the bidder. But he said that the Board had no role the Chargers rejection of the bid. He said that the Deccan Chargers had informed that the price and terms of the Bidder was not acceptable.The BCCI had issued a notice to the franchise to clear certain defects.Deccan Chronicle holdings reportedly received a bid of 900 crore rupees by PVP Venture Capitals.
