The Board of Control for Cricket in India – BCCI – has decided to recommend batting great Rahul Dravid for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and Yuvraj Singh for the Arjuna award. Chief Administration officer of BCCI Prof Ratnakar Shetty said that their names will be forwarded to the Sports Ministry next week.Rahul Dravid announced his international retirement recently after accumulated over 23,000 runs in Tests and ODIs since his spectacular debut at Lord's in 1996. Yuvraj was India's hero in the 2011 World Cup triumph. The Government had recently extended the deadline for the nominations till July 20.
