The BCCI has issued an ultimatum to the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) demanding it to furnish around 42 million US dollars damages caused by the Caribbean team's mid-tour pull-out last year. In a fresh letter to WICB, the BCCI has demanded that the compensation be paid at the earliest. The Indian Board has threatened legal action in case the WICB fails to respond to the letter within a week.The West Indian team had pulled out of the tour of India last year owing to a pay dispute with its Board. It had forced the hosts to arrange a series against Sri Lanka at the eleventh hour.
